Michael Ivy, President and Founder of Camelwalk Productions
Camelwalk Productions is a Chicago-based multimedia production company focused on educational, community-based social projects. Mr. Michael Ivy, President and Founder, is a computer science consultant by trade, and a vocal supporter of social initiatives that seek to educate and further the dialogue surrounding shared community themes and issues unique to multi-cultural American cities today.
In addition to his work with Camelwalk, Mr. Ivy has over 25 years of experience consulting in the computer sciences field and has also served as an adjunct professor at Columbia College. He was recognized as “Man of the Year, Guggenheim’s Male Responsibility Program” and awarded the “HUD Fellowship Award, University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC” among others. Mr. Ivy holds a Master of Computer Science from DePaul University and a Master of Urban Planning from the UIC.
Marlon Woods, Vice-President of Camelwalk Productions
Mr. Woods is a certified Project Management Professional and operates his own consulting business. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters in Business Administration from Governors State University. Mr. Woods has consulted and worked for a number of notable organizations included but not limited to Time Warner, Sears, Kraft, and Phillip Morris. He is an avid jazz fan and brings his love for music and business acumen to Camelwalk Productions.
Joyce Ivy, (Chief Fundraiser/Project Co-Ordinator)
Joyce Ivy is the President/CEO of a catering service and former Assistant Director of Beverage and Food Management at the Fayetteville Doubletree Hilton Hotel. A former client of the CARE Center, Ms. Ivy is intimately aware of the extraordinary support and fantastic work CARE Center employees provide their clientele. Ms. Ivy is a champion of CARE Center in the community and owes a great deal to the organization. She could not think of a more deserving social service agency to partner with for The Land of 1000 Dances Charity Ball.
