Domestic Violence

- acts of violence or abuse against a person living in one's household, esp. a member of one's immediate family.

- violence or physical abuse directed toward your spouse or domestic partner; usually violence by men against women.

Every person shall observe the right to live in a household that is free from domestic violence. We want to draw attention to this issue that affects so many households in our society.

CARE/Center for Domestic Violence offers a shelter for individuals who have to face this issue in their lives.
